The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing all aspects of projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality and within health and safety guidelines. The role is based in Manchester with travel to support projects in the UK.

The Role
- Design, plan, and coordinate projects ensuring work is carried out in full confirmation with quality, environmental and safety standards.
- Be involved in regular design meetings, provide effective communication and change management.
- Provide support to the technical strategy at bid and pre-construction phase of projects.
- Be involved in successful project delivery as part of the team, with high quality deliverables completed on time and on budget.
- Be involved in the overall programming and planning of the project.
- Maintain technical audit trail through the design process to demonstrate the review process and design acceptance by internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively resolve installation and commissioning challenges.
- Delivery of designs in line with health and safety requirements.
The Person:
Essential Criteria
- Recognised qualification in mechanical / building services engineering. i.e. BEng / MEng or demonstratable experience.
- Ability to design building services in line with appropriate standards, guidance, and client`s requirements.
- Provide technical knowledge of Building Services.
- With guidance have the ability to make effective decisions in consultation with projects stakeholders and use judgement to escalate decision making process.
- Customer focus with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
